Is this a solar-specific product, or a general CRM with solar labels?

Solar-specific, and the design tooling is the test of that. You trace a roof on satellite imagery, the packer fills it, each panel is checked for shade by month and hour, the mounting structure is taken off in real steel, and the bill of materials prices itself from your own catalogue. A general CRM has none of that, and no amount of custom fields adds it.

Does it work for residential, commercial and industrial jobs?

Yes, and the differences are real rather than cosmetic. Residential work leans on the quotation and, in India, the PM Surya Ghar subsidy slabs; commercial work on design options, procurement and milestone billing; industrial work on the table designer, the structural report and crews across several sites. The project stages themselves are yours to define.

Do you have a mobile app?

Not yet. A mobile app on the same backend is in active development, and we would rather say that than list it as shipped. The web app is responsive and is used on phones in the field today — site surveys capture GPS and photos from a phone browser — but there is no offline mode and no App Store or Play Store download.

What do I need to send WhatsApp messages?

Sending from your own business number means connecting a WhatsApp Business API account, and Meta reviews that — it is their approval, not ours, so we cannot promise a same-day connection. Templates for business-initiated messages also need Meta approval before they can be sent. Once connected, conversations are two-way and stay on the customer record.

Does it handle GST billing, or do I still need accounting software?

For Indian workspaces it issues GST tax invoices with HSN/SAC codes and an automatic CGST/SGST or IGST split derived from your GSTIN and the place of supply, plus credit notes, debit notes, TDS withholding and financial-year numbering. The GSTR-1 and 3B exports are a working cross-check for your accountant — they exclude B2C and reverse-charge, and they do not file your return. It is not a replacement for a statutory audit ledger.

We already run stock in Zoho Inventory. Do we have to move?

No. Items, warehouses, composite kits and stock movements sync two ways with Zoho Inventory, matched on SKU, with conflicts surfaced for a human rather than silently overwritten. See the Zoho integration page for exactly what is and is not covered.

Can I control who sees what?

Yes. Roles are built from module and action permissions, each scoped to a user’s own records or all of them, so a sales executive can be limited to their own leads while a manager sees the team. Approvals are separate permissions again — the person who draws a design need not be the person who signs it off.

Where is our data, and what happens if something goes wrong?

Data is held in Google Cloud Firestore. Production runs daily managed backups with point-in-time recovery, plus a nightly export to separate storage so a restore does not depend on the live project being healthy. Deletion protection is on. Those are the three layers; we verify them rather than quoting an availability figure.
