A plant is one table, engineered once and repeated.
Nobody designs a megawatt as one enormous frame. They engineer a table, certify it, and stand hundreds of them on a roof. Solset splits every structural number the same way the discipline does — what an engineer signs, and what procurement multiplies — then carries the job through ordering, crews, approvals and payment.

Six stages, across as many sites as you are running.
The pipeline a plant runs, and the part of Solset that does each piece of it.
A plant is one table, engineered, then replicated
Structure is designed as a table — "2P × 13", two modules high in portrait and thirteen across, the fabricator's own naming and the name on the model. Member lengths, column count and steel come off that table; the plant is the table multiplied.
Wind, frame and a model an engineer can open
A 3D frame solve, IS 875 Part 3 wind loading, an IS 800 member check, and a STAAD .std export of the same model the report was written from — one model, two readers, so the numbers and the file cannot disagree.
Thousands of modules, received in parts
Purchase requests, approvals, orders, goods receipts against the right warehouse, and vendor bills matched three ways. A part delivery is a part delivery, not a closed line.
Crews across several sites at once
A week board of crews by day. A double booking warns and lets you save anyway — refusing would just make somebody delete the other booking to land their change, which loses the information you wanted. Materials readiness answers which site can actually start.
Somebody other than the drawer signs it off
Designs have a lifecycle — draft, in review, shared, final — and an approval that is a separate permission from drawing one. Purchase orders, vendor bills and invoices each have their own approval gate, with a reason required to send something back.
The paperwork outlives the project manager
Structural reports, STAAD models, approval drawings, DISCOM submissions and site photographs live against the project rather than in somebody's mailbox — with daily backups, point-in-time recovery and a nightly copy held outside the live system.
Uplift per column does not grow with the plant.
Drag the slider. The right-hand column climbs and the left-hand one does not move — because a table's structure has nothing to learn from a second identical table standing next to it.
What an engineer checks and certifies — for the table, in the fabricator's own naming.
What procurement orders. Multiplication of the table above — not a second calculation.
What it is, and what it refuses to be.
A report that gave a confident verdict on everything would be less useful than one that says where it stops.
What it contains
- A 3D direct-stiffness frame solve — reactions, member end forces and displacements
- IS 875 Part 3 wind loading, with the state basic wind speed and terrain category you choose
- An IS 800:2007 member check, with the utilisation that governs
- Exact hollow-section properties, including a Bredt torsion constant
- A STAAD .std export built from the same model the report was solved from
What it is not
- A verdict on anything but hollow sections — channels, angles, pipes and aluminium return "not checked", with the reason
- Bending of a member along its span: loads are lumped at the joints, so a pass on an unloaded member is marked as exactly that
- Foundation design (IS 456), and any substitute for a signed structural certificate
- Any claim that it agrees with STAAD.Pro — nobody has run the export through one and compared
