Your first week, honestly described.
Not a migration project. You can have real leads in, a roof drawn and a quotation sent before the week is out — and the one step that genuinely waits on somebody else is named below rather than glossed over.
- Create the workspaceEmail or Google. No password to invent.
- Bring your leads in
- Connect WhatsApp
- Draw your first roof
- Send your first quotation
- Invite the team
Six things to do, in this order.
Each one is useful on its own — you are never half-configured with nothing to show for it.
- Day 1 · minutes01
Create the workspace
Sign in with Google, or give an email address and confirm the code we send. There is no password to invent — the address is what proves it is you, and you can add a password afterwards if you want one.
- Name the company and pick the country it operates in
- The country decides which tax fields appear on your documents
- You land in a working workspace, not a sales queue
- Day 1 · half an hour02
Bring the pipeline you already have
Export your leads from wherever they live now — a spreadsheet, another CRM, a WhatsApp export you cleaned up — and import the CSV. Columns are mapped once; duplicates already in the workspace are skipped on phone and email.
- Import leads in bulk from CSV
- Rules distribute an imported list across the team, round-robin or by workload
- Every lead gets a short id you can say out loud (L-100238)
There is no web-to-lead form you can embed on your own site yet. Leads arrive from ad forms, WhatsApp, CSV import, or typed in.
What the CRM covers - Day 1–203
Connect WhatsApp
Conversations belong on the customer record, not in somebody’s personal phone. You can start on our shared business number straight away, and move to your own number once Meta approves it.
- Two-way conversations that stay on the lead or customer
- Message templates for the things you send every day
- Follow-up sequences that stop the moment a customer replies
Connecting your OWN number is Meta’s decision, not ours — their review takes as long as it takes, and we cannot promise a same-day connection. Templates for business-initiated messages need their approval too.
How follow-ups work - Day 2–304
Draw your first roof
Find the site on satellite imagery, trace the roof, and let the packer fill it — or place panels by hand where you know better. Shade is checked per panel by month and hour, and the mounting structure comes off the same drawing in real steel.
- Trace a roof and get a layout, a capacity and a generation estimate
- See which panel is shaded, and by how much
- Structure takeoff, wind loads and a structural report
The structural report gives a verdict only where it can — hollow steel sections. It is an engineering aid, never a substitute for a signed certificate.
Inside the Design Studio - Day 3–405
Send your first quotation
The design becomes a bill of materials, and the bill of materials is priced from your own catalogue. Pick one of five document themes or put it on your letterhead. The customer opens a link — no login, no attachment to download.
- Quotation built from the design, not typed again
- A public link the customer can accept
- Accepting it opens the customer record and the won deal
A line we cannot match to a product in your catalogue arrives with no rate, deliberately. A plausible guess is more dangerous than an obvious blank.
Quotations in detail - Day 5 onward06
Invite the team
Roles are built from module and action permissions, each scoped to a user’s own records or all of them. A sales executive can be limited to their own leads while a manager sees the team; the person who draws a design need not be the person who signs it off.
- Per-module, per-action permissions with an own/all scope
- Approvals as their own permission, separate from doing the work
- A shared work inbox so nothing waits on one person’s memory
What you do not have to do.
The steps a rollout usually stalls on, and why this one does not have them.
No implementation project
Nothing is configured for you before you can use it. The stages, document numbering and roles all have working defaults you can change later.
No per-seat surprise
Seat counts and monthly allowances are printed on the pricing page, derived from the same caps the app enforces.
No data lock-in
Your leads, customers, invoices and quotations export as CSV from the lists they live in.
No second tool for design
Roof layout, shading, structure and the quotation are one chain. The design is where the bill of materials comes from.
The questions that come up first.
Put one real enquiry through it this week.
The free plan is a real workspace. Import a few leads, draw one roof, send one quotation — then decide.
